The aim of this study was to evaluate the acute hand injuries caused by angle grinders and to identify risk factors. Out of 742 acute hand and forearm injuries presenting in our emergency department between March 2016 and March 2017, 82 cases of injury due to angle grinder were included in the study.

My Daughter, who is a paramedic, told me of an angle grinder accident up in the Sierra Nevada foothills. A man was working alone under a vehicle.
